Pretty sure the number of Dark Souls players here is just one but oh well. Anyone seen the new trailer for the The Ringed City DLC for Dark Souls 3? If anyone has any questions about Souls then ask. Now then Don't read past here if you don't want spoilers for the DLC I watched the trailer and the gameplay ver. of it. While most of us wanted the location of the last DLC to be Londor, It is not. Instead we got The Ringed City. Which we aren't going to start in. Time and Space have gotten screwed over and the result is "A 4th Dimensional Toilet Flush" XD Wouldn't that mean we are going to see locations from the other two games? At the center of it all is the Ringed City... which might be the location of the Dark Soul or maybe whoever has it. Could it be pygmy? The forgotten one who found the Dark Soul in the first place? And it places from other games are coming, Does that mean the characters are coming too? (I still am hoping for an Impossible boss... like Gwyn at max power) The one that is searching for the Dark Souls however is the Slave Knight Gael. Why is a character with no important lore chasing after the most important thing in the franchise? Who knows. We however are chasing HIM! The guy sounds mighty important in the next DLC. Now then as for the Bosses. The only one we know about is The Flamey Bat Demon and The Not So Flamey Bat Demon together. (Expert namer ain't I xP) They are the second Three Phase boss fight after Sister Friede. The most interesting thing about this guys is that once one dies, The other transforms into... The Demon Prince. The Demon Prince sounds familiar if your interested in the lore, As it is on Lorian's UGS. According to it Lorian defeated The Demon Prince which caused his UGS to be "cursed" with it's chaos flame going in it. If you ask me it was kinda blessed. While that made his UGS not so good against Demons. So.. what we see in the DLC will be the birth of a new Prince, Who just gets destroyed by us right away. XP The next interesting thing about it is that this boss fight is the combining of two boss styles in the first game. Ornstein and Smough & The Bell Gargoyles. The Gargoyles part is that when you get into the fight there is only one. Once it's health gets down to 50% the second long ranged one comes in. So now O&S part is the choice of who to kill first the easy 50% health close-ranged one or the full health long-ranged one. If you kill the close-ranged one first... Your gonna have a bad time. The Demon Prince casts the pyromancy Floating Disgusting Chaos... two of em. It's gonna be very hard for close-ranged fighters like me. While killing the long-ranged one first will get you a close-ranged Demon Prince who shoots Chaos KamehameHaaaaaaa.. from his mouth. The weapon you can get from their soul is for Pyromancy using and Melee combat. Pretty interesting if you ask me. The other thing is a new Pyromancy which I dunno about. The enemies use some Humanity style spells like the one in the DLC of the first game. Is that showing the return of Manus? I don't think so. It simply is showing the presence of The Dark Soul I believe. Hmm. Dun think anyone will actually read this all. Dx
